Aluminium Door Threshold Strip Self Adhesive
Perfect for connecting wooden, laminate, vinyl or tiled floors that are at the same or slightly different levels (up to 3mm). Excellent quality Self Adhesive Anodised Aluminium door floor trim. This product comes with a single assembly system, which is based on glue. It is very simple and quick to assemble, all it takes is three easy steps.
Firstly, simply cut the trim to your desired size. Secondly, peel off the protective strip that is on the back of your trim. Finally, place the trim in the required position and push down firmly to stick it to the floor. This door trim provides an ideal alternative for the person that does not wish to drill and plug.
The glue creates a cushion between the trim and the floor protecting both surfaces from damage when under pressure.

How does a self-adhesive stair nosing work?
Self-adhesive stair nosings have a pre-applied adhesive backing. You clean and dry the step surface, peel the backing tape, position the nosing, and press firmly along the full length. No drilling or screws are required.
How long does the adhesive last?
When applied correctly to a clean, dry surface, the adhesive bond is durable and long-lasting under normal domestic use. Avoid applying in cold temperatures (below 10°C) and allow 24 hours before heavy use for the adhesive to fully cure.
Can self-adhesive nosings be removed without damaging the step?
Self-adhesive nosings can usually be removed by carefully lifting one end and peeling back slowly. Residual adhesive can be removed with a suitable solvent. Ideal for rental properties or situations where permanent fixing is not desired.
What surfaces are self-adhesive nosings suitable for?
Suitable for smooth, clean surfaces including laminate, hardwood, tile and vinyl. Not recommended for heavily textured, dusty or damp surfaces as adhesion will be reduced.
Are fixings included?
No — fixings are not included. Standard stainless steel screws are suitable for most applications. The profile comes pre-drilled with colour-matched pips to conceal fixings for a clean finish.
Can this stair nosing be cut to size?
Yes. The aluminium profile can be cut to your required length using a standard mitre saw or angle grinder with a metal cutting disc. Measure carefully and make a clean, straight cut for the best result.

The PVC insert is available in 13 colours: White, Black, Brown, Beige, Canvas, Red, Dolphin Grey, Ice Grey, Midnight Grey, Yellow, Cobalt Blue, Saffron and Tangerine — allowing you to meet LRV contrast requirements or match your interior.
