Simply drill holes in between connecting floors (or through layed flooring) slide supplied plugs into the track beneath trim ensuring they line up to the holes drilled previously. Then just push down firmly onto the trim so the plugs are fully inserted into the holes and the silicon creates a cushion between the trim and the floor.

Can this stair nosing be cut to size?
Yes. The aluminium profile can be cut to your required length using a standard mitre saw or angle grinder with a metal cutting disc. Measure carefully and make a clean, straight cut for the best result.
